Who we are

Since the great wave of Vietnamese refugees arrived in 1975, the meaning of “Vietnamese identity” has evolved and multiplied. For our parents, it was about survival and resilience—leaving behind familiar homes and memories, they built new lives in places like Little Saigon, carrying with them the traditions, flavors, and stories of their homeland.

For their children—now adults—the journey has been one of adaptation and opportunity. Growing up in America meant learning to navigate a new world, embracing new possibilities, and sometimes, drifting from the cultural roots of their youth. Yet even as connections to Vietnam evolved, the essence of that heritage persisted, tucked into family recipes, seasonal celebrations, and the stories whispered across generations.

Now, a new generation of Vietnamese-Americans is coming of age—curious, creative, and ready to explore their heritage in fresh ways. They can discover the magic of Tết Trung Thu, the rhythm of traditional songs, the glow of handmade lanterns, and the taste of mooncakes—bridging the gap between the past and the present, blending tradition with modern life, and making these customs their own.

Here in Little Saigon, multigenerational households thrive, and our mission is simple yet profound: to create products and experiences that bring generations together. We aim to inspire grandparents to share stories of childhood in Vietnam, of celebrating Tết Trung Thu in bustling alleys, and to give families the tools to continue these traditions in their own homes.

Little Saigon is more than a place—it’s the heartbeat of a living Vietnamese heritage. By celebrating our stories, flavors, and rituals, we hope to nurture a cultural legacy that will inspire future generations to carry these traditions forward with pride and joy.
